The OK Chorale is a therapeutic singing group where people with dementia and their care partners can enjoy the benefits of making music together!

The OK Chorale will meet every Wednesday afternoon at 1:30PM-2:30PM beginning February 6, 2019.

Accompanied by Claudia Gambino

4 Weeks to a Better Memory @ Alzheimer's Orange County

Memory Training is an innovative, educational course that teaches individuals techniques to improve their memory in a fun, interactive classroom environment. This 2-hour once per week course is designed to benefit individuals with age-related memory challenges over its four-weeks of lessons and beyond.

Program Benefits:

  • Remember names and faces
  • Recall appointments, messages and plans
  • Practice everyday memory techniques
  • Avoid misplacing objects
  • Overcome “tip of the tongue” memory slips
This program is not intended for people with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.

Four sessions: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm – Irvine, CA

Thursdays: March 7,14, 21 and 28.

Savvy Caregiver
Mar 7 @ 10:00 am – 12:30 pm

The Savvy Caregiver program is an evidence-based training, resulting in caregivers who possess greater confidence, greater understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia, and practical skills to improve quality of life and support.

Those completing this nationally acclaimed course gain:

  • Personal knowledge, skills and caregiving perspective
  • Skills to assess abilities of their loved one with dementia
  • Confidence to set and alter caregiving goals
  • Strategies to manage activities of daily living
  • Understanding of the disease progression
  • Essential abilities to attend to self-care
  • Increased ability to work effectively with professionals providing care

Thanks to the generosity of others, there is no charge to attend. Interested individuals must call to reserve space and
