This special Kol Nidre service will be uniquely adapted to enable people experiencing memory loss and/or dementia, to attend a meaningful High Holy Days service with their families. Participating clergy are crafting this experience to connect people with memory loss issues to the deeply resonant moments which include traditional Jewish melodies and the formality which begins the Day of Atonement.
Service starts at 10:30 am. Refreshments will be served directly after the service.
This collaborative effort is brought to the community by Heritage Pointe, VITAS Healthcare, the Jewish Collaborative of Orange County, the Orange County Board of Rabbis, and Alzheimer’s Orange County.
