Medical advances can help save lives. They also can present terminally-ill patients and their loved ones with difficult choices at the end of life. Catholic teaching gives patients and their families principles for making decisions about initiating or continuing medical treatments.
Join us for this important discussion about the teachings of the Catholic Church on end of life, care choices during serious illness, and how the Caring for the Whole Person Initiative relates to parish life.
Our speaker Father Jack Sewell is a priest of the Diocese of Orange for 45 years. He has ministered as a parochial vicar, pastor, adjutant judicial vicar, and reserve Air Force chaplain. He currently serves as a chaplain in the Spiritual Care Department of Providence Mission-Laguna Hospital.
Meet in the Hall.
