Memories in the Making Training
Become a trained Memories in the Making art facilitator
Memories in the Making® is the signature art program of Alzheimer’s Orange County. For many years, Memories in the Making has been recognized for its ability to elevate the quality of life for people with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. Classes are held at adult day centers and memory care communities in a group setting to allow discussions and reminiscing of life experiences. The painting sessions are led by art facilitators, trained by Alzheimer’s Orange County, to work specifically with persons with dementia.
Memories in the Making training is open to:
- Persons who wish to offer the program at their place of business.
- Volunteers who would like to participate in weekly classes art classes.
- Anyone interested in learning how to use art as a communication tool for individuals with dementia and related disorders.

Memories in the Making Training Manual
Can’t attend the training in person? Purchase the Training Manual to learn more about the program.
For the most comprehensive understanding and usage of the manual, it is highly recommended to attend training first. The manual is included in the training, as it will continue to offer guidance and act as a reference for questions that may arise.
