Research on Alzheimer’s disease is evolving rapidly, bringing new insights into how the disease develops, how it can be detected earlier, and how it may be treated in the future. An Update on Alzheimer’s Disease provides an overview of the latest scientific discoveries, emerging treatments, and advances in diagnosis and care.

Participants will learn about current research on risk factors, brain changes associated with Alzheimer’s disease, and the growing understanding of prevention and lifestyle factors that may support brain health. The session will also explore new and emerging treatments, including recent FDA-approved medications and ongoing clinical trials. Designed for both families and professionals, this class offers a clear and accessible look at where Alzheimer’s research stands today—and what these developments may mean for the future of care and treatment.
