Meet the Golf Fore Alzheimer’s 2024 Honoree

Robert Ortega began his journey in the tire business, starting as a tire installer at his family’s shop in the early 1990s. With dedication and a passion for customer satisfaction, he quickly ascended the corporate ranks at Discount Tire and Service Centers, where he now holds the position of Vice President of Operations. Robert is known for his fun-loving nature and is well regarded by those who work for him. A proud father and grandfather, he exemplifies what it means to be a family man. He always made time for his children while they were growing up, attending weekly karate lessons, spending time with them and being at their side as much as possible. Now he enjoys his role of a loving grandfather to three: Grayson, Haley and Corvine, with one more on the way. He loves spending time with his little ones, whether it’s at the park, spoiling them with toys, or doing anything else together. His capacity for caring for others has also been demonstrated by his selfless and compassionate support of Alzheimer’s Orange County for over 10 years. Today, he serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors Executive Committee. Alzheimer’s Orange County is proud to recognize him as this year’s Golf Fore Alzheimer’s Honoree and we extend our heartfelt thanks for his invaluable contributions to advancing our cause.
