Boost Your Brain: A 3-Part Series on Memory and Focus
This three-part series explores how the brain changes with age and what individuals can do to support memory, attention, and cognitive resilience. Participants will learn evidence-informed lifestyle strategies and practical techniques that can be incorporated into daily life to strengthen brain health and improve everyday cognitive functioning.
Wednesday, September 9th Part 1: Foundations of Brain Health—How the Brain Ages
Explore how memory, attention, and processing speed may change across the lifespan. Participants will learn which changes are commonly associated with normal aging, which may warrant further evaluation, and how overall health influences the aging brain.
Wednesday, September 16th Part 2: Strengthening the Brain—Lifestyle Strategies That Matter
Daily habits can play an important role in protecting and strengthening brain health. This session examines the impact of physical activity, nutrition, sleep, stress management, social connection, and cognitive engagement and helps participants identify realistic changes they can begin making.
