Dementia affects millions of individuals and families, yet many people are unsure what the condition actually involves. This introductory class provides a clear overview of dementia, including common symptoms, how it affects thinking and behavior, and the different types of dementia. Participants will learn how dementia differs from normal aging and what changes families may notice over time. The class also introduces practical strategies for supporting individuals living with dementia and highlights resources available for caregivers and families.
