Lunch and Learn: When Is It No Longer Safe to Live Alone

Determining whether a loved one can continue living independently can be one of the most difficult and emotional decisions families face. This class explores the key safety, health, and cognitive warning signs that may indicate it is time for additional support, including changes in memory, judgment, mobility, medication management, nutrition, and personal safety. Participants will gain practical guidance on how to assess risk, start sensitive conversations, and explore care options that balance safety, dignity, and quality of life.
