Memories in the Making: Facilitator Training

Become a trained art facilitator and learn how to engage and communicate with someone with Alzheimer’s disease through painting. Memories in the Making allows self-expression under the guidance of an art facilitator trained specifically to work with individuals with memory loss and dementia.
After taking this class you will:

Recognize the symptoms of dementia

Understand the principles and techniques of compassionate communication

Describe how artistic expression can benefit people with dementia

Practice techniques that improve communication with Memories in the Making® artists
