November 3 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Dementia brings a unique and often complicated experience of grief—long before a death occurs. Family members may grieve changes in memory, personality, independence, relationships, and the future they imagined, while the person living with dementia may also experience profound losses and moments of grief. This panel discussion will explore the many layers of grief that accompany dementia, including ambiguous loss, anticipatory grief, caregiver grief, and the changing nature of relationships. Panelists will offer compassionate perspectives and practical strategies for recognizing, validating, and supporting grief throughout the dementia journey.
