Music has a unique ability to engage the brain, evoke memories, and influence mood. Research shows that music activates multiple areas of the brain involved in emotion, memory, and movement. In this class, participants will explore how music affects the brain and how it can be used to support emotional well-being, connection, and engagement. The session highlights the role music can play in supporting individuals living with dementia and offers ideas for incorporating music into daily life. Participants will experience how music can spark memories, reduce stress, and create meaningful moments of connection.
