Physical activity benefits both the body and the brain. Research shows that regular movement supports memory, mood, and cognitive performance by increasing blood flow to the brain and promoting the growth of new neural connections. This class explores how exercise influences brain health and why movement is one of the most powerful tools for maintaining cognitive function as we age. Participants will learn about different types of physical activity that support brain health, including aerobic exercise, strength training, balance activities, and mind-body movement. The session also provides practical ideas for incorporating more movement into daily life.
