When Safety Comes First: Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors (Online)

This class helps caregivers understand and respond to dementia-related behaviors that may create safety concerns, including wandering, aggression, sundowning, driving concerns, paranoia, fear, and resistance to care. Participants will learn practical strategies for reducing risk, staying calm in difficult moments, and shifting priorities when safety becomes the primary goal while still preserving dignity, connection, and meaningful engagement.
