Our Corporate Partner Honoree for our Back to the 80s Gala, Angels Baseball, has had an enduring partnership that goes beyond field of play. Discover what it means to them to be part of Alzheimer’s Orange County’s mission in the Q&A below.

What drew the Angels to getting involved with Alzheimer’s Orange County? Is there a personal connection that you’d like to share?

Alzheimer’s disease has touched so many families, including members of our own Angels family. Whether it’s a parent, grandparent, friend, or fan, many of us know firsthand the impact this disease has on individuals and those who care for them. When you realize how many people in our community are affected, supporting AlzOC becomes more than a partnership—it becomes a responsibility. As a community organization, we believe in using our platform to bring awareness, encourage hope, and help provide resources to families facing this journey.

How long have the Angels been supporting Alzheimer’s Orange County and why?

The Angels have proudly supported AlzOC  since 2012 because their mission aligns with our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve. Beyond the game of baseball, we believe in investing in organizations that improve lives. AlzOC provides critical education, support services, and research funding that directly benefit families throughout Orange County, and we’re honored to help amplify that work and encourage others to get involved.

Is there anything you’d like the audience to know about the Angels?

The Angels are committed to being more than a baseball team—we strive to be a meaningful community partner. Throughout the year, we work alongside nonprofit organizations, schools, and community leaders to support causes that make Orange County a better place to live. We recognize the privilege of the platform we have, and we hope that by partnering with organizations like Alzheimer’s Orange County, we can inspire others to learn more, support their neighbors, and make a positive difference in our community.
