Join us at our 2019 Walk4ALZ & Run4ALZ!

Fall is officially here, which means Orange County’s largest community event for Alzheimer’s draws nearer. We at Alzheimer’s Orange County are excited to return to Angel Stadium this November for our annual Walk4ALZ event, as well as our new 5k run!

What is Walk4ALZ & Run4ALZ?

Each year, Alzheimer’s Orange County holds our annual Walk – a fun, communal event dedicated to bringing together those who have been touched by Alzheimer’s, as well as raising funds to help local families in Orange County who are battling dementia. Every dollar raised from Walk4ALZ & Run4ALZ will stay in Orange County, and will go towards Alzheimer’s Orange County’s services and programs to help improve the lives of those touched by Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. Some of these programs include:

  • Telephone Helpline
  • Caregiver Support Groups
  • Social and Cultural Programs like Memories in the Making
  • Adult Day Care Centers
  • Community Education and Training Classes

…and many more.

Today, there are more than 164,000 individuals in Orange County living with some form of dementia or MCI. With that number projected to more than triple in the next five years, the need for our community to come together and join the cause is greater than ever! We strongly urge you to participate in Walk4ALZ & Run4ALZ to help make a contribution towards much-needed programs, advocacy, research, and support services for our older population.

How can you help?
